Program Information

The individual training program was developed in 2017 to provide more pathways for our region's athletes.

The goal is to deliver a fun, structured, development-first program that will push athletes to achieve their personal best.

There are 5 spots available. The cost is $150, taxes included, and athletes receive a shirt with registration.

Coaching Team

Our coaches are highly experienced and fully trained to lead in their area of focus.

Elita Rahn:

Elita began coaching in 2002 with the Newfoundland provincial biathlon team. She has coached at Canada Games and Nationals and was Team Newfoundland's provincial assistant coach in cross country skiing. She moved to New Brunswick in 2005 and, from her home base in Jolicure, Elita has continued coaching with local clubs and school programs. She completed her Sport Coach training with Athletics Nova Scotia this spring.

In concert with her multi-sport coaching experience, Elita's athletic resume is hard to match, with over 20 years of long-distance road racing and ski racing experience. She has completed over 20 international marathons, skied several world loppets and set numerous provincial records in both sports in Newfoundland and New Brunswick in early 2000’s.

Some highlights from her running career include participation as an elite runner in the Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon in 2014, where she finished 11th. The same year, she finished third in the Havana Marathon and, in 2016, Elita completed her first Boston Marathon. Not content with marathoning, she was the top female finisher in three ultra trail running events: The Lou 52 in 2014, 52 km; Wascally Wabbit in 2016, 85 km; and Fundy Circuit in 2016, 51 km.
