Run, Jump, Throw Information
In its fourth season, our Run, Jump, Throw program was founded to provide more sport pathways for our region's youth.
The goal is to deliver a fun, structured, development-first program that will introduce athletes to track and field and help them apply fundamental movement skills to other individual and team sports.
The cost is $150, taxes included, and athletes receive a shirt with registration.
There are a maximum of 30 spots available and spaces will only be saved for athletes who have both registered and paid in full.
The program runs end of June to mid-August.
Who? Girls and boys ages 6 to 12 will be grouped for age-appropriate skill development
What? Run, Jump, Throw (beginner track and field) with multi-sport elements
When? Wednesdays, June-August 20, 6:00 to 7:00
Where? Amherst Rotary Park and Dickey Park, Amherst, Nova Scotia
Laoghan Hendra is the founder and director of Cumberland Sporting Club, has 10 years of coaching and leadership experience, and is trained as a Run, Jump, Throw instructor through Athletics Nova Scotia.
Coach Cadets are energetic and experienced male and female youth coaches who are passionate about sport and who will provide positive examples to athletes, either with their athletic abilities or leadership.

Colton Caballero: Lead Coach Cadet with Run, Jump, Throw coach training.
